These terms govern your use of the CopilotMeet website and desktop application ("the Software"), operated by CopilotMeet (see Impressum for legal entity details). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these terms.
Upon purchase of a Lifetime License, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the number of devices specified by your license tier, for as long as the Software exists. This is a license, not a sale — you do not own the underlying software, source code, or intellectual property.
New users may access a free trial (7 days or 3 hours of meeting audio processing, whichever comes first). The trial is provided for evaluation purposes and is limited to one trial per person/device as reasonably determined by us. We may modify or discontinue trial terms at any time.
After purchase, you may connect your own API keys for third-party AI providers. Your use of those providers is governed by their own terms and pricing, entirely separate from CopilotMeet. We are not responsible for third-party provider outages, pricing changes, or policy violations.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer the Software beyond what's permitted by law, redistribute or resell your license, use the Software to violate any law or third party's rights (including recording meetings without required consent from participants), or attempt to circumvent license or trial enforcement mechanisms.
CopilotMeet captures system audio output during meetings you actively start. You are solely responsible for complying with applicable wiretapping, recording-consent, and privacy laws in your jurisdiction and for obtaining any required consent from meeting participants. CopilotMeet does not access microphone input and does not record or transmit audio outside of an active, user-initiated session.
Prices are listed in EUR and may include applicable taxes depending on your location. Payments are processed via Stripe. The Lifetime License is a one-time payment; optional credit packs are purchased separately and are non-recurring.
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. See our Refund Policy for full details, including when this right may not apply to digital goods already accessed.
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated answers may be inaccurate or incomplete — you are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it in a meeting, interview, or professional context.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CopilotMeet's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Software is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to license holders by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Munich, Germany.
